Romantic forest getaway - the highlights would be the natural environment with its sights, sounds and the wonderful smell of pine trees; the swimming pool and the sauna rooms (steam, dry Finnish, and one in between); and of course the gastronomy. The fireplace would be an ideal place to sit in a chair before with either a book, a glass of wine or a few friends to talk. Or just take a pot of tea to the balcony and sip it while listening to the birdsong.

We stayed there from Sunday to Monday, the place is very nice and traditional. But the employee where not very nice, they eyed us pretty often while we just ate or talked to each other (I highly doubt that we misbehaved). Apperarently one has to be at least 50 years old to be treated nice in this place...We both are a little younger and just hopped to have a cozy weekend but the behavior of the waitress kind of overshadowed the hole experience. Furthermore they have a very nice sauna but no emergency generator, we learned that whilst we attended the sauna and suddenly stood in the pitch dark. We had to find the way out by our own, the employee came about 10 minutes after...

Nice hotel with a very good kitchen! The breakfast and the dinner is delicious. The pool is big and there are 2 saunas, 90 degrees and 60, and a steambad.

Astonishing surroundings Beautiful glass roof restaurant Great for motorcycles Big swimming pool and sauna The place is movie-like pretty. Decor is classy, interior is sparkling clean and rooms are spacious. Delicious breakfast and restaurant.

A really excellent restaurant serving authentic, regional dishes. The staff are professional, courteous and knowledgeable. Relaxed atmosphere, stunning views of the Black Forest. Booking recommended. Danke!

Great place completely surrounded with woods. Amazing. Comfy room, good breakfast. Wifi practically useless, but glazing into the green is much better than to the smartphone anyway.

Nice hotel, greate food and service. It is situated in beautifull area. Equiped with swimming pool (~20m so you can really swim inside) and couple of saunas. Only negative is very poor coverage of mobil signal, however hotel is fully covered with wi-fi so you are not completelly disconnected...
